Model

Four dimensions of my business model each contribute to the overall business value.  By focusing on several key pillars I can exploit each vertically rather than losing focus by trying to monetize everything.

Following are the four key revenue streams.

Affiliate Sales Revenue

Income generated by customers purchasing products through affiliate links.

Super Affiliate Sales Revenue

Income generated from a 2nd tier of affiliate marketers who have become associated with advertisers through my sponsorship.

Advertising

Income generated by the placement of related advertisements either in the form of contractual relationships with advertisers or the placement of ads from programs like Google AdSense, Yahoo Publisher or Microsoft AdCenter.

Consulting

Income generated from:

    • Teaching others internet marketing skills.
    • Web marketing campaign consulting.

 Growth Model

The fundamental rules of growth are scalability and leverage.

Scalability

Being able to quickly position a platform to monetize and compete in any niche based on a simple repeatable business process. This requires a repeatable, scalable process. The metaphor ‘Rinse and Repeat’ applies perfectly in this case, perfect the baseline model and process and then repeat as required.

Leverage

I have a secondary profit model based on leverage and it works like this:
Tier 1 – Based on the affiliate sales model when I make a sale I earn a commission – period.
Tier 2 – If another affiliate marketer joins an affiliate program through my sponsorship I get a percentage of their sales – not from the marketer but from the affiliate program vendor or network.

This is multi tiered marketing. By expanding my base of people who participate in network programs I gain leverage through their marketing programs as well.

Diversity

Diversify marketing tactics by working with multiple ad networks.

Goal

Generate a completely self sustaining, passive income that will continue to grow itself in the long term.

Traffic Model

The key to profitability is high quality high volume traffic.

The concept is to entice off-site visitors to follow a link to a targeted landing page on the web site where they are incented to perform a specific action which will lead the into a sales funnel.

Core Traffic Methodology

On Page SEO

Create content on the website which causes the major search engines to rank it highly and place it on or about the 1st page of search results.

Article Reference

Publish original, expert articles through article publishing services with links back to the web site. People read the article and want to know more or are curious about the author and want to learn more so they click on the link which takes them to a landing page on the web

Social Network

Comments, ads and references placed in major social networks with links back to the website.

Blog Postings

Posting entries on blogs related to the niche content which lead back to the web site

Email Marketing

Develop an incentive such as a report or ebook and offer it to visitors in exchange for the customers email address.
Once they have provided their email address the email auto responder program sends automated emails at a preset frequency
Develop a series of email follow up messages specifically targeted at building a relationship with the people who have opted in to the specific email capture program.
